Archer Returns to Win the Top Title at the World Forage Analysis Superbowl 

MADISON, WIS. – Out of 293 entries in this year’s World Forage Analysis Superbowl, Rodney Archer of Alamosa, Colo. was chosen for the second year in a row as the Grand Champion Forage Producer. He won this award with his commercial hay entry and was presented $2,500 from Legacy Seeds. The Brevant seeds Forage Superbowl Luncheon presented awards to the top five finishers during World Dairy Expo. The Grand Champion First-Time Entrant award of $2,000, sponsored by New Holland, went to Martin Farms of Strykersville, N.Y. for their standard corn silage entry.

Quality Counts Awards were also presented to competitors during the luncheon. In the area of Quality Counts Corn Silage, Zirbel Dairy Farm in De Pere, Wisconsin captured top honors with their BMR corn silage, sponsored by Silostop. For Quality Counts Hay/Haylage, Jenson Family Farms of Elk Mound, Wis. earned first place. Their award was sponsored by CROPLAN.

Sponsors of the 2023 World Forage Analysis Superbowl were led by Platinum Sponsor, Brevant seeds.
